Divers

Description

Whether surface-supplied or SCUBA, one of the most important things for a successful dive is the air. From recreational divers to occupational divers, safe air is required to survive.

In 1970 Congress passed 30CFR, PartII, SubpartJ, 11.121(b) which states, "Compressed gaseous breathing air shall meet the applicable minimum grade requirements for Type I gaseous air set forth in the Compressed Gas Association (CGA) 'Commodity Specification for Air G-7.1', (Grade D or higher quality)", making periodic testing of compressed breathing air a law.

CGA G-7.1 Grade E is typically chosen to be the standard for diving air. The Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) has adopted the Grade E standard, adding only a quarterly testing requirement.

Rocket Air Labs is able to test your diving air for compliance and is proud to play a role in helping all divers return safely. We recommend using our Rocket-Air test kit.
